Look Up, Look Down – a new challenge

One of the things about blogging that has surprised and delighted me, is just how many fantastic blogs there are out there.  Whether you want to laugh, be inspired or be informed, there are plenty of blogs to suit.

To help find these blogs, and to inspire your own posts, there is a wide variety of challenges and memes.   As I have very much enjoyed joining these challenges and blog hops, I have decided to host a photo challenge of my own.

My own blog is a travel blog and one of my travel mantras is “look up”;  we miss so much if we don’t.  Therfore, this challenge is titled

LOOK UP, LOOK DOWN

It’s very simple, just post a photo that is either looking up, or looking down.  Then link back to this post and use the linky list at the bottom of this post to link to your entry.  Please leave a comment after linking up and take some time to visit other contributors.

Here is my own contribution for this first week.

Motorbikes in Barcelona

Transportation 2-wheel style, in Barcelona

To see other entries and to link up your own contribution, please click here. Just enter your post’s URL and thumbnail photo to the Linky Tools list and away you go.

The list will open each Thursday at 00:01 GMT and will be open for a week.

    • That would be wonderful. It starts 00:01 GMT on a Thursday and I’m planning for the Linky to stay open 3 or 4 days. I may refine things a little once I see how everything goes.

        • I’m planning to run it weekly, I have loads of ideas. Funnily, I was thinking of mainly looking up (I’m quite short so I’m usually looking up!) but then this weekend I was down at the South Bank and took lots looking down from the bridges and balconies. I look forward to your roof!

        • Well it’s the top of a tower/turret of an historic gate, I never noticed there was a giant coat of arms on there till I looked up, even though I’d passed it a million times!
