Skeppsholmsbron , the Skeppsholm Bridge, dates back to 1861. This iron road bridge, with pedestrian pathways on either side, connects Blasieholmen in central Stockholm to the island of Skeppsholmen. At 165 metres in length and just 9.5 metres in width, it is not a large bridge. However, it is a memorable crossing, known for its striking royal crown decoration in the centre of each outer balustrade. All of the views in Stokholm are fanstastic anyway, but this splash of regal colour adds something to the foreground.

A colourful note: yellow orange appeared as a Crayola crayon in 1930. The name has survived since then, though its actual shade changed markedly in 1958 when it gained an increase in orange.
This colour marks the end of the Colour Your World Challenge, that has taken us in alphabetical order through the current range of Crayola colours. It has been a most fascinating and fun challenge to participate in; I shall miss the daily colour hunt.
I will miss it too, and your posts have been so interesting, not to mention your great colour matches.
