We’ve been caught in a dirty high in the south of England for a few days. These means lots of clouds mixed into the high pressure, so dry and not too cold, but grey wins the day.

Fog, I like. Haze, not so much. We had several weeks of continuous haze from forest fires in nearby counties a couple months ago. It took a long while for them to get under control.

This was last week! A lot has gone though – every storm takes away a bit more. I know bits were lost in January this year. It was noticeably more damaged to me. I had heard that money from the new tower would be used to resurrect it. but more investigation shows they view it as un-rescueable, and it will be replaced in some way.
