Pupils at schools across Edinburgh took part in a project to create poetry and personalised figurines, which formed a bright display outside the Scottish Parliament.
The poems resemble trees in their physical appearance. This creativity is mesostic, a form of poetry where a letter from a key word appears somewhere in each line, providing a central trunk.
The mass of figurines, all in yellow, congregate on stands in a pool. The chaotic crowd consists of a mass of models. Each one gesticulates and shimmies in a pose chosen to reflect the character of the young artist.

Oh yes, that’s difficult with my shots. Only small, typical of the figurine you’d buy in art shop About 20cm tall I’d say

A good colour to use in a British summer – provides light that may not be there!
