The work of Osch,  Shoreditch,  London,  January 2017

The colours, the peaceful words and the well-behaved children were all ready to wish us a Happy Christmas.  But the detail removes the happiness.

This is the work of  Otto Schade, a Chilean street artist who is now based in London.

A colourful note:  sunglow was a new name and shade, joining the Crayola fluorescent collection in 1990.

This light orange, a cheerful shade of gold, is a good depiction, which is often used to refer to the colour of the sky after sunset.  The first recorded use of sunglow as a colour name in English was in 1924.

  1. I love all the pictures you post! I have looked at the Color Your World challenge with great interest but I am not sure how to participate in a meaningful way. I am just back from a trip to Cuba which obviously is heaven for such a challenge but I see you love it too! I love your eye!
