Grand Central is an awe inspiring railway station – great views both up and down. Next time I get across the waters, I plan to take one of the guided tours around this establishment.
I may have missed out on the educational side, but I had a fantastic lunch in the famous Oyster Bar. Highly recommended, even if, like me, you don’t like oysters!

I live in the Uk but was lucky enough to visit Central Station. It’s an amazing space! i hope to get back to NY someday and see the new railway terminal they have built.

Grand is the word, Debs! 🙂 I’ve never actually tried oysters but I’m not fussed on shellfish and they don’t appeal much. Is that sacrilege? 🙂

To oyster lovers, I’m sure!
Oysters are too slippery an slimy for me, but I do love prawns and crab 🙂

I like crab. 🙂 Prawns not so much. Never tried lobster either. What a sheltered life I’ve led 🙂

When I worked in that area I used to pass through there daily.
