“Putting you first keeps us first” was the slogan used in a Chevrolet advertising campaign in the 1960s. It could be a good motto for another company we’ve heard a lot about this week!
Do please come and join us on a Saturday: simply share a post containing just 6 words. Now, many of us openly break that rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire!
To join the challenge, put a link in your post consisting of the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave a comment. If you have any problems with placing the link, just put your own URL into the comment. And feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtagtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

This looks fun. 🙂 I’m not sure I’ve got it but, basically, you post six words with a six-word title? Does it have to be about your week? Your life? Do you need to include a badge or photo? Can you just write a six-word fiction story?
Deepest apologies for all the questions. (<- six words…just saying.) 😉 Thanks.

Hi Sarah
The rules are pretty relaxed.
For most people it’s a 6 word title, sometimes with a photo, sometimes not. And typically about something they’ve done that week.
But a lot of people find it hard to stick at 6 words and a photo and end up using more words.
Personally, I stick to 6 plus a photo caption (and instructions, such as they are, on the challenge)
a 6 word story would be very welcome – I’m sure everyone would enjoy something a bit different.
Badge not needed, just a link to my post so that others can join in.

In my principles of marketing course, we talk a lot about the idea of putting the customer first. Here’s my SWS: https://allisonsbookbag.wordpress.com/2017/04/14/six-word-saturday-86/

Yes, it’s an important topic. But cost savings and other priorities often get in the way.

Now, millionaires shortbread in Nero’s (and a good cuppa) is one of my pleasures.
I’ve never tried the cheesecake version 😦

Very interesting.
They are clearly words that many would like to use – doing it is harder!

Great slogan and one lots of companies could take note of not just you know who!!
And what a fabulous photograph. When I first saw it and the slogan, I thought it was about if we put nature first then the world and us will be ok too.

PS I’ve done two 6WS this week – one on each blog. My first was up with the lark so went live a little while ago. https://beckybofwinchester.com/2017/04/15/up-with-the-lark-this-week/ My second will follow shortly with a pingback 🙂

The nature aspect is a good one – it would be great if more of us could have that attitude
And thanks for your double entry!
