All who wander are not lost

“All that is gold does not glitter,
not all those who wander are lost;
the old that is strong does not wither,
deep roots are not reached by the frost.”
J. R. R. Tolkien

Can be defeated by a map;

Now over to all of you.  Do please come and join us and our Saturday musings: simply share a post containing just 6 words.

Now, many of us openly break that rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.

To join the challenge, put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment.  And feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtagtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

  1. Very very clever, I’m most impressed.
    But is my first sentence six
    Or is it seven? Never sure
    when one uses a little apostrophe
    Think I’ll settle for saying six!

  2. I’m slow to new things
    but I do get there eventually
    with the maximum allowable level
    of fussing and whining and being all sweaty
    then I settle down and do it.
    Like I shoulda in the first place.

    Thank you.
