The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is on in the streets of Baku this weekend. I loved the mix of old and modern in Baku and the friendliness of the people of Azerbaijan, and very much wish I was there for the Grand Prix. It’s not a very exciting race circuit, but it is fast; I’ll be watching on tv and enjoying the glimpses of the city.

Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule (guilty this week!) and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtagtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

Well my huge favourite was Senna. Showing my age, unfortunately! Now probably Vettel,

thanks Tish, and I watched the qualifying on telly this evening. But because of security and the way the course wraps around the old town , people can’t get into that part of the city. Such a shame!

I thought I’d make my return with a 6WS as expected I would be short of words . . . . but oh no I should know better shouldn’t I! Still at least it is a multiple of six 🙂

I recognised the towers, Debbie, so thought of Baku. As Elaine says, you found a great spot to take the photo!

I thought I had left a comment earlier, but it clearly vanished into a WordPress abyss! Anyway, you gave me the heads up on the GP which I can’t watch as I’m out tomorrow! Might see some of the qualifying.. Anyways, here’s my 6 Words : https://suejudd.com/2017/06/24/six-word-saturday-a-glimpse-into-the-old-attic/

I tried to guess from the photos where you were but failed miserably. I got as far as being pretty certain that you weren’t in the UK! You had a great vantage point for this photo.
