Weather can be kind

6 a.m. in London in early November was harsh – cold, damp, windy, dark.

This was a dawn walk, but would the sun ever fight its way through the heavy mist?

And why hadn’t I worn my wellies? and carried a hot water bottle?

By 9 a.m., though,  the sun was winning its battle (and my feet had dried out) – the world had been put to rights.  All that was needed now, was a cup of coffee!
