6 a.m. in London in early November was harsh – cold, damp, windy, dark.
This was a dawn walk, but would the sun ever fight its way through the heavy mist?
And why hadn’t I worn my wellies? and carried a hot water bottle?
By 9 a.m., though, the sun was winning its battle (and my feet had dried out) – the world had been put to rights. All that was needed now, was a cup of coffee!
One of my favourite dawn walks.

It may not be great for walking, but it certainly is for photos.

Thanks Sue. I need encouragement to get out of bed that early!
