One of my favourite cities in Europe, battling with Madrid, Barcelona and Marseille. Full of history combined with vibrant modern life, friendly people, great food, stunning views and a beautiful language.

I am visiting Lisbon in May. Mostly on a tour but a couple days on my own. Any “don’t miss” recommendations?

Lisbon is on my list. Agree with your other three as well. I really couldn’t pick a favourite

Some places are quite striking and really stay in your mind. Would have to include Paris Venice Split and of course Sydney

I need to do the 2 M’s to compare, Debs. I love Barcelona too. Hard to choose sometimes. 🙂 🙂

Lisbon is a place I really want to see, but have been told I would never manage it, too hilly. But I’m determined to find a way…..

They have electric tuk tuks! Plus trams and taxis. Some areas might be tricky but there’s loads you could do Sue
