The colour version above probably helps reveal the identity of yesterday’s more anonymous black and white image.
It is the roof over the seafront walkway in Malaga, which opened in late 2011. If you go over to Google maps street view you’ll see their 2009 images showing the building work underway. Theses attractive overhead curves now provide much-needed shade as you admire the boats in harbour, wander along to shops, bars and restaurants, and perhaps grab an extra-cooling ice cream.

Absolutely the opposite.
They have developed the port area so cruise liners come in now, but apart from that this is a real city. Roman and Picasso sites, excellent food, great street art area, one of my favourite Spanish cities
