And I’m breaking my six word rule, to say “go to see the Frida exhibition at the London V&A if you possible can”. It is fully sold out, so you’ll need to hunt down friends, or strangers, with tickets they can’t use! It gives an intriguing insight into her life, her work and Mexican culture.
Kahlo: Making Her Self Up, at V&A until 18 November 2018.
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtagtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

I am a Frida fanatic and have seen several exhibits here and in the States. Not surprised it is sold out.

I’m another one who can’t go, but I enjoyed your photo. Before I head off to the farmers market, here’s my entry for this Saturday. If you live in the US, don’t forget to turn your clocks back an hour tonight (unless, like my parents, you live in Arizona where they don’t do this.) 🙂 Happy Saturday, all.

A brilliant evocation in this photo, Debbie. Frida was one astounding, courageous woman.

I like Frieda’s and your story today. The fuzzy people in the background make the shot.

Looks amazing Debs, but there’s no way this year. You’ll have to post more photos. Happy weekend 😃😃

Photos weren’t allowed in the exhibition itself unfortunately. I wonder if this exhibition might tour but I haven’t seen anything to that effect yet. The other solution is a trip to Mexico!!
