A Banksy pixelated priest and a view onto Museumplein, Amsterdam, January 2019
Banksy created his pixelated priest sculpture in 2011 in reaction to the child abuse scandal in the Catholic church. His classic priest sculpture received a pixelation makeover, a very clever way of showing him as a crime suspect.
This sculpture is on display as part of the unofficial Banksy “Laugh now” exhibition currently on at the Moco Museum in Amsterdam. It features many of his iconic works and is well worth visiting if you are anywhere in the area. The exhibition has been extended and I’m not aware of an official close date.

I attended a Banksy exhibit last spring in Toronto which also gave me an even more appreciation of his works.

It was a fascinating exhibition of his work – showed me work hadn’t seen before and i was left in greater admiration.
