I’m hoping there’ll be more places to add ( I have a few ideas!)
And Kindle plays a role too – I use Kindle Unlimited to pull in books for planning and to carry on my travels without added weight. Then I return them and move to new plans!
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtagtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

It’s nice to let your fingers do the walking sometimes in doing some research.

Wow! A great idea to visit places through books sitting in the comfort of your home… My SWS inspired by yours – https://myheart2heart.blog/2019/03/09/travelling-freely-through-blogs-not-plane/

I love both reading about travel and stories set in other places and doing the actual thing. Apparently we’re on the same page, so to speak, in that regard. I see some of “my” authors there, like Donna Leon. 🙂

WE seem to have several shared likes and habits 🙂 I only discovered Donne Leon because it was venice – and I love her now. In fact, I think you told me I would!

I think I was the one. I’m so glad you like her. I just love her characters.

I went with a shot from last spring as there’s no sign of spring this year with weather more like
January at the moment.

I like travel but I also like the planet and jet fuel is bad. What to do?

Books and travel, two of the most fun and incredible things to do especially as the first enables us all to do the latter even if we can’t actually move 🙂

If you haven’t read it, try Pachinko. It was my favourite from last year!

You’ve been all over the world last year! Lovely to see your books. Why is Street Art upside down? I thought German books printed the side title the other way around, but French do too?

I had a very busy year – much of it was not planned. One of my favourite countries was South Korea, which had never been on my bucket list – and now it’s on the “must go back and see more” list

And why do you want to return, Debbie? The landscape? The people? The food? 🙂
LikeLiked by 1 person
All of it! The people were extremely friend, and I loved the food. And the language. Seoul was a young and fun city, Busan was great too, and I’d like to see more of the countryside and coast.

Lovely! Reading is a great way to travel . Making travel plans is half the fun.

It certainly is. Reading fiction set in the place often makes me feel at home the minute I arrive somewhere new.

Love this. Books indeed allow us to visit places you will never otherwise see — and provide handy reference for those we will.

Absolutely. I don’t like to do too much planning with guide books, but I love to read some fiction to get a feel for a place – historical or modern day.
