We’ve created some wonderful collective nouns in English. There are some very ordinary ones, such as group, herd and flock; and some fascinating ones like a sloth (of bears), a shrewdness (of apes) and a kaleidoscope (of butterflies); and, of course, a dazzle (of zebras).

I’d not heard of that one before, but I love it…and the photos. Mine is a more prosaic dazzle, yet one I think you’ll enjoy.

That’s not what I thought of when I read “dazzle”. Monochrome works so well for zebras. And you are so right about collective nouns.
So here is my, very ordinary, dazzle: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2019/04/07/down-town/

You really do get around, wonderful photos of the zebras. The only time I see them is when the Swiss circus Knie pays its annual visit to our town of Solothurn.

For me, a safari is the most relaxing holiday possible. I could sit for hours just watching a single animal.

Tanzania was the start of a crazy travel year last year. I have much calmer (and cheaper) plans this year.
Last week was a hectic one as I was on nurse duty for my sister, who had an op on her wrist and I was helping with duties such as got walking and vegetable chopping 🙂
