Dazzle

A dazzle of zebras, Tanzania, January 2018

We’ve created some wonderful collective nouns in English. There are some very ordinary ones, such as group, herd and flock; and some fascinating ones like a sloth (of bears), a shrewdness (of apes) and a kaleidoscope (of butterflies); and, of course, a dazzle (of zebras).

    • Tanzania was the start of a crazy travel year last year. I have much calmer (and cheaper) plans this year.
Last week was a hectic one as I was on nurse duty for my sister, who had an op on her wrist and I was helping with duties such as got walking and vegetable chopping 🙂
