“Green is the prime colour of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises.”

Is it? I thought that it is blue, because we have blue sky and blue seas and we have 187 888 blue lakes in Finland. The earth seen from the space, seems to be quite blue.
Maybe I am wrong. 🙂

I liked your take on green. Maybe not something that was on Calderon’s mind, though he was influenced by Cervantes apparently, so windmills may have been on his mind!

The earth was a lot more greener during Calderon’s time, but now going green is the only way… thank you for sharing your views…

This had me mulling over so many things to post Debbie. Finally settled on a few images.

Never!!! I started out to do a copycat with a green light photo but when I put it next to yours I decided that was a bad idea

Interesting that you, too, picked green light to illustrate the colour green. I did, too: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2019/04/10/the-colour-of-life/
although my first impulse would be to show plants, anything from a whole forest or meadow to tiny leaves.
