Yes, I’m stuck in my collective noun obsession. And this week, it’s a memory of elephants. Yes, you can use herd, or even parade, but memory is a great term for elephants, who are known for not forgetting.

Thanks to everyone who brought us some confusion last week – it came in many varieties, from fun to dangerous. Special mentions go to: Eklastic for capturing facial confusion brilliantly; Klara is forgiven for mentioning Brexit; Sandy gifted us a beautiful image though the confusion is not such happy news; and, Carol Anne brought us some emotional words, albeit rather sad.
If you didn’t have chance to check them out, the links are below.

it took a while to focus on what memory I wanted to share. I didn’t have any digital elephant photos.
I finally settled on https://lightwords.blog/2019/04/25/well-always-have-paris/
Thanks for helping me create this album.
Charming elephant families, by the way 😄

Your photo reminds me of my time in Tanzania. I was editing some photos from my trip last fall to Greece, so have added a photo from Delphi, since I remember seeing your interpretation of the area about a month ago: https://wp.me/p2owKx-19w

One day, when I have really a lot of time and nothing else to do (hehehe) I will get round to digitalising my analague memories. There may be a memory of elephants or two among them.
For the moment, an elephant of sorts … but no full herd: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2019/04/21/memory-all-alone-in-the-sunlight/

I am trying hard to remember each of these collective words to “dazzle” in a conversation.
Can you make a 6 word sentence with them?

I did´t know there were so many different collective nouns! Memory seems to fit elephants perfectly. Love your shots!

Yes, a perfect word for them. I love the way the collective nouns fit the animal so well.
