Tower

A giraffe-disguised tower, Malta, March 2019

I’m weaning myself off my recent obsession with collective nouns, but gently, as you see. Why this tower was disguised as a giraffe, I do not know, but it caught my attention because tower, is used for a group of giraffes! Tower is used for stationery giraffes, journey for those on the move, and herd, troupe and even kaleidoscope get used too.

Thanks to everyone who brought us a memory or two last week – it was great to see so many glances back in time. A very special thank you to Sue for a wonderful poem and a great matching image.

  1. My son love cranes and every time I drive next to the port side road in my city with him, he just don’t stop looking at them, until they vanishes.

      • love it when the themes connect – and seriously – how fun is this to have the giraffe crane (and did you hear the recent news that a crane feel in Seattle and killed four people – so sad – I think we take it for granted that they will stay upright and do their job safely – ugh – feel so bad)
