Thanks to everyone who brought us some triangles last week. There were some very interesting and clever interpretations. Special thanks to Eklastic for her birdie theme, and to Geriatri’x‘ for a granular approach. If you didn’t have chance to check them out, the links are below.

Love your choice of monument – especially the robe! Here’s mine – no monument here, but guess it fits… https://myheart2heart.blog/2019/09/11/the-eco-friendly-way/

Your choice does remind me that people see things/other people from entirely different angles. I’ve gone to the Badlands for my entry this week, a natural monument to God’s spectacular creation…and one greener than I’ve ever seen it before.

Sisters are doing it … Thanks for the “honourable mention” of birds and sand.
At least the style of your featured monument is more to my taste than the one I chose to depict. As you can probably guess from the text in my contribution today, I am not one for monuments anyhow.

I share your dislike of glorifying battle, power, etc. But I also think the old monuments are important reminders of the other side of the story.

You are, of course, right. But maybe I am feeling even more ‘anti’ about it in the light of recent political developments, not only in Germany.

You have been given help. I always try to take photos of the accompanying signs these days, so that I’m not reliant on memory or masses of googling! Age is taking its toll

A great monument, Sue. The word communist always takes my mind east, so was delighted to head in the opposite direction with you
