A wander through Christmas at Kew

Welcome to a cold but dry night at Kew Gardens. We’re going to take a leisurely walk through the Christmas light displays. It will take us a couple of hours and there are several places en route where we can grab a snack and a warming drink. The mulled wine is always a favourite with me. But if anyone is peckish now, there are a few tempting stands at the start of the walk.

The route is obvious, as the lights guide the way, so not many more words required.

There are a few galleries below – do click on them to see larger images.

This year, the Temperate House is lit for the first time:

And the same for the Treetop Walkway:

The grand finale still takes place at the stately Palm House, though, and this year the show there is better than ever.

  1. Absolutely stunning, Debs! Purely a work of art. 🙂 🙂 I’m playing Andre Rieu in my head as soundtrack. Thank you so much! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas lined up. (and a rest?)
