This reminded me of Mr Bean’s attempts to hide his steak tartare!! Here you go if you haven’t seen it:

It’s rare to walk along that stretch of wall without seeing street artists at work.Not sure how long for though as the area is going to be redeveloped. The garden on the other side of the path was closed not long after you were there.

At first I though some idiot with a pink spray can had just painted over a Mr Bean mural (the idiots who decided to tag over the pink cloud seem to suggest that) but after a closer look at Mr Bean’s nose I am not so sure anymore.

Street art is temporary, and this area changes rapidly, but I always hate when it’s taggers that do it rather than new art. However, I admire them for leaving his head and doing it tactfully. I just wish I had seen the original.

And don’t you know he can look gorgeous as well. In the second season of Blackadder, the Elizabethan one, he looks so attractive. Rowan Atkinson should always wear a beard!

You are touching a sore point. I met my husband with a beard and I never knew his face with out one for 30 odd wonderful years. Then he had to go and develop high blood pressure and the meds he has to take make his skin very itchy and he cannot bear his beard. He is naked in the face and it took me quite a while to get used living with this stranger. And I still wish for the beard back!
