I love Art Deco buildings, we are going to stay later in the year at the Midland Hotel in Morcambe for a forties weekend and I’m very much looking forward to it.
It takes me 2.5 – 3 hours, depending on the route, generally changing St Pancras and Ashford International. It’s easier for me to do at weekends to fit in around work , but the trains are less reliable.

Ah, OK….so a2 hour journey for me really isn’t too bad. I’ll do it when the weather warms up
