The new Library is certainly a great building….but in many ways I still love wandering through the ‘old library’. In particular I spent many days (for work!) digging through the old Photo records that they had. It was a case of dive into the next box and see what you could find. Time seemed to pass in a flash as it was so interesting, past places, past culture, past transport and industry…. great 🙂

I spent much time in the old library. My philosophy at uni was to do as much work during vacations (Birmingham library) as possible so I could enjoy the term more 🙂

A great building and the centre of Birmingham is much more attractive than it used to be.
