An open door! I had to go back in time to find this, as lockdown is still quite tight here in Britain. And we have a typical Miss.Tic image to go with it.
Miss.Tic has been stencilling the walls of Paris since 1985. She mixes lightness and gravity, humour and provocation, using images of women and usually incisive phrases.
“Smile you are alive”
outside a bar in Paris, July 2018
Miss.Tic has also appeared in exhibitions around the world and participated in the 2010 edition of the Petit Larousse, illustrating the words of the French language. If you’re in Paris, you’ll find it hard not to spot some of her work

Miss Tic, is everywhere on the Paris walls since a long time. She began his work in the middle 80’s. It’s a kind of institution now 🙂

What an amazing find. Glad you could pull this out of your archives, since I’d never heard of Miss.Tic before. Clever use of the name, too.

I hadn’t her of her, but I like her style! The little phrases that go with the murals are quite cute too.
Thanks for participating Debbie.
