Travel with Intent 
I finally got back online late last night and am now playing catch-up. I love both Last Supper’s but the one from Athens looks political in nature and the hands of the “common man” pleading for help. I certainly didn’t feel like it was due to adoration. My favorite da Vinci is the Vitruvian Man.

Yes, it’s very clever – with small figures in the irises. It’s a massive scale and the only way to appreciate the whole thing is to stand on the other side of a busy road.

I saw one at a pub in Dublin too, but didn’t have time to dig that out! I just popped into the Cathedral to work out where the black Last Supper will be – it was there ready to be hung up for Saturday.
Photos should be ok, as it’s close to the rose window. I wondered if they were putting it in a small shrine.

And there’s going to be a new Last Supper here in St Albans. They are unveiling one with a black Jesus this weekend in the cathedral. I’ll be sharing photos if they’re allowed.

Thanks Brian. The da Vinci quote started it off – I struggled to understand all those words, but it did remind me of the wonderful murals I have found. Just a shame I haven’t yet seen the real Last Supper

oh this is all very very clever . . . . not sure I quite understand Leonardo, but I love your squares. And even you stretchy one is two squares which you bring the line back to the middle!!

I am finding 2 squares next to each other a great way to show things that just won’t fit / work in one square. And the compare block is such fun I had to use it! I also got a fix for my masonry gallery problem yesterday so WordPress are gradually dealing with the new editor bugs.

That’s good to hear, must drop them a note about my Portuguese blog. Having all sorts of problems with that at the moment, including the fact Gutenberg is not an option to use! I click on the block editor and just end up with classic editor. Bizarre.
