It is a tempting idea. Are you thinking of a permanent mooring, or will you be roaming?

Unfortunaltely in Scotland we’re not allowed to just roam; plus the network is quite limited. We’ll have a permanent mooring but will move about alot, and stop over at different visitor moorings along the canals. Will be great for visiting the likes of Edinburgh & Glasgow; you can just take your house with you 😃

Excellent idea. Many years ago we knew a guy that had a ‘hair bus’ he parked at the South Mimms services, but I think a canal boat is much more fun

That’s one up on us. We have a Barber in the Van who’s doing well.

We only seem to have dog parlours in vans – though that could work for my hair!! A poodle haircut might be just what I need 🙂

Yes, I had never seen it before. Permanent morning is not normally allowed on the canal so I assume he moves around and you book an appointment to coincide with his docking somewhere near you! I peeped through the window and it looked a very professional setup inside.
