That is so true, also when you meet various people, your perspective on the world, your horizons and your dreams grow beyond boundaries that you had set earlier in life. Traveling surely would be one of the best therapy to a lot of mental illnesses, however small or big.

Indeed. We are missing out on a lot during lockdown. The only bright side is reduced impact on climate change, although that may only be short term.

Traveling is an exercise in adventure and humility, that’s for sure! In American schools, we learn that we are the best, and that everyone else wants to live here. My travels helped me realize that there are happy people everywhere, and that I had much to learn about the world. I’ve been to about 50 countries and hundreds of cities, and I’ve found a reason to love them all.

We see what a tiny place we occupy in the world. The world is an amazing place filled with mysterious places and breathtaking experiences just waiting for exploration.

Travel really enlightens us and opens our minds. Once you see cultures up close & personal, you realize the media isn’t the be all end all.
