An amazing sight to see isn’t it. The mix of styles that blend so well. I guess there must have been a bit of passing building the cathedral from father to son – be nice if there was a father to daughter wouldn’t it?
The original drawings compared to the finished building would be good to see.

A building with quite a history … and with history being made just in front of it by the way things look.

It was a very lively day! Everyone was out celebrating Liberation, and it was great to see people representing different parties and beliefs marching and celebrating together.

Yes, it was my third visit to Milan and finally I got a day without rain! And the cathedral looked more impressive in sunlight

Same here. It took six centuries to complete and is made up of multiple architectural styles and the ideas of many people.

Yes, it has received very varied comments over its life, many being critical, but the size and the work that went into creating it are jaw-dropping
