Several sculptures by Belgian artist Giles Falisse (b. 1964) were on display at Royal Ascot this summer.
His use of natural stone combined with an open framework of steel, makes for a striking feature and creates a genuine feeling of naturalness and movement.

I love it except for the eyes! Why would you make a fab sculpture like this and then attach what looks like a pair of giant googly eyes?

I like it, the sculpture of Gilles Falisse, is like ROLLING STONE. Lovely. He uses the nature material to create a so wonderful art.
