I know a lot of readers who fancy entering a photo competition and either don’t know what’s open or don’t get around to it (I suffer from both). So here’s a list to get you started. Please let me know of any others you are aware of in the comments below and I’ll keep the page up-to-date.
Monthly calls for entries, each month with its own topic, each overseen by a world-renowned photographer or industry professional.
Monthly winners receive online exposure, $2000 in cash prizes, and feedback. Varying costs to enter, but $80 for 12 months membership gives most entries and feedback.
At the end of the year winners are exhibited in shows in New York, Paris, Rome and Tokyo.

Wex Mondays 2018
Wex Photographic runs a weekly competition – simply tweet your photo on a Monday with hashtag #WexMondays and you’ll be considered for the weekly selection. The only rule is that it must be a photo taken in the past week. The weekly winners are well publicised and move into the competition for the annual winner and inclusion in the exhibition at their Whitechapel store.
