I love Edinburgh – it’s a great view with the tulips. Much more stunning view than when we visited in an October!

It’s good for most of the year, but a visit can suffer if the weather doesn’t oblige!

A feast of colors here, Debbie! It looks like the page for a travel catalogue:) ( don’t think I told you yet that my son’s internship is in Barcelona at a company of luxurious travel off-the-grid packages, and their office is next to the Gaudi) ) Many thanks for adding this festive view in Edinburgh for SEASONS:) and have a great week ahead!

What a wonderful internship! I’d love to work for them myself! Or go on holiday with them!
My house out there is only about 40 mins drive from Barcelona. But I haven’t been out for a while because I’m still not allowed to drive post-op.
My daughter graduates this summer and is looking for some work in Human Resources for the summer and maybe a year until she does an MSc. It’s an exciting but difficult time. Your son is moving on successfully

Yay, grad. college is a big accomplishment! With MSc – do you mean a Masters in Social Work? Doing college in another language (or is it an internat. college where they teach in English) is not the easiest – she’s in Paris, right?

Masters in Science – the names here are MA for arts and MSc for science. So MSc in psychology. No, she’s in England, in Manchester. She hasn’t had the language confidence to go elsewhere. She’s more of a home bird than me.Though she travels more now and really enjoyed her time working in Sri Lanka last summer. It must be very hard having your son so far away. A couple of affordable hours to northern England is one thing, but several expensive international hours is much harder! Does he live in central Barcelona?

Debbie, this is simply a wonderful photo, the grey of the Castle, statue, and trees contrasting so vividly with the beautiful colors of the flowers. I also like the curving lines.

And funnily enough I had planned a long walk for that day but had a sore back after too much walking previous day without using a backpack for lenses!! I popped into town to grab a backpack and the city treated me to sun and flowers!

I have never been to Edinburgh but that is such an iconic you up to the castle I recognized it immediately. How lovely to have the spring flowers in the foreground.

Yes it was an incredible display. And the mound was yellow with daffodils but harder to capture.
