Stunning scenery, good food, a big wheel with views and delectable cream teas aren’t the only attractions on the English Riviera. Torquay is currently hosting the International Agatha Christie Festival – an annual event that draws in fans of the famous crime writer from around the world. If you fancy joining in you’d better move fast as it ends this Sunday, 21 September.
What a beautifully composed photo! The lighting really cooperated, too. This sounds like a great festival, but I’m afraid I’ll have to miss it this year.

Beautiful light in your pic! What are cream teas (tea with cream in it? That’s how my mother liked to drink her tea:) )

It seems quite a few English seaside resorts have similar clock towers on the front.

It’s very kind of towns to put up Ferris wheels to help my photo composition! This one was in the perfect place!

This photo should be featured on Agatha Christie’s Riviera web page as it is better than any picture I found there. Thank you Debbie for sharing this post. The lamps are very intriguing in this photo 🙂
