Comfy and cosy

Comfy and cosy is simple for me – an enveloping armchair and a good book. Failing an armchair, the book alone will do.

One of my top 10 reads in 2018, though I read it in English!

And I’m not the only one that finds books make a cosy setting:

  1. Sadly Libraries are closing at a fast rate. I have to be truthful and say that I have not been in a library for years….but I think back to younger days when the library was the key place and not just for the books but for all sorts of help and information. I guess times change. But books are the continuous link to so much in life be it travel, fun or education. …. they can also bring you a good deal of peace in this busy world. 🙂

    • Yes, there’s a very mixed outlook or libraries. Some place are managing to keep them a key part of their community, but with home wifi for many and so much information available online, it in’t easy to do. The glitzy one in my photos is a new library in Seoul and it was busy and popular. I thought it was a book shop at first, or maybe a giant coffee shop. Having open and walk-through in a jazzy shopping centre seems a good way to go.
