how fabulous – love the thought of living in a 1930s modernist house but then the practical me worries about the concrete!

It looks rather 60’s or is it way back? Great photo study of the architecture Debbie 🙂

1935! And it didn’t feel that old at all. Has had some tender care in recent years.

It does, Jo. And a nice little cafe so you can sit on a balcony and chill. 😀

Beautiful! Similar to the shapes of the Frank Lloyd Wright designed convention center here in Madison.

Looks an impressive building. Would love to get up on the roof. What a shame they denied Frank Lloyd Wright initially.
I’ve been to Taliesin West and would love to see more of his work.

Thanks for looking up the convention center! The roof space is wonderful. They hold free dances there in the summer. I debated writing Wright-designed because they departed from his original drawing quite a lot. But it has the flavor of his work. Madison is a great place to see many Wright homes and the Unitarian church he designed. We went on a tour of around 10 structures.
