Bugs are a necessary evil (ok, that’s a bit strong, I know, but on the whole, I’m not fond!) of more adventurous travel. The two above are from South Africa, the one below is from Bulgaria.
And the final one is from a food market in Beijing.

It was painted and ready to be used as decoration on a house that was being built. Just a lump of wood I think.
