Have Your Bacon and Eat it!

Today, August 31st, is International Bacon Day!

According to Wikipedia and the Royal Bacon Society, today, the Saturday before Labor day, is the day for all bacon lovers to celebrate.

This year London is getting in on the act with a bacon sandwich challenge. Tempted? Then head down to the Loaf cafe, at 93 Tottenham Court Road, where the eating challenge takes place between 4 and 7 p.m. today.

If you fancy some sophistication with your bacon, such as bacon jam fudge, then why not try a bacon masterclass. Booking now open for Saturday workshops in September with Eat Like a Girl.
