Obsessed with Colour

“Colour is my day-long obsession, joy and torment.”
Claude Monet

I have featured Manchester’s Northern Quarter several times on this blog  before.  Maybe it’s a bit of an obsession  for me; I love it for its fierce independence, great coffee shops, one-off fashion, fun street art and general quirkiness.   And for the riot of colour.

Stevenson Square is something of a focal point for the street art scene; the shop and club shutters flaunt humorous and colourful graffiti and in the centre of the square, an ex-public convenience features a changing display of art.

The colourful works below are those that were featured in June this year.
