Many thanks to Cate at Show My Face for creating this fun Six Word challenge and for running it for 421 weeks!
She is now taking a deserved break and I have very happily taken on the hosting role.

All Souls Church, Portland Place, London, April 2017
–
Do please come and join us on a Saturday: simply share a post containing just 6 words. Now, many of us openly break that rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire!
To join the challenge, put a link in your post consisting of the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave a comment. If you have any problems with placing the link, just put your own URL into the comment. And feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtagtag #SixWordSaturday.

I found your challenge on Restless Jo’s blog. She has a page dedicated to your challenge even with a brief history of who started what. I am post a series of interviews on my blog with bloggers who host challenges. I’d love you to participate. My email address is tchistorygal@gmail.com. This is a really fun challenge.

So I’ve been doing a few Six Word Saturdays without realizing I should be linking to your blog.
Apologies. Here is my post from Saturday. https://rutheh.com/2019/06/28/romeo-und-romeo-cafe-in-berlin/
I think it’s a cool concept and I hope to do it correctly in the future. How does one add the little logo piece? Hopefully I will figure it out. Jo is the one who has inspired me to participate. Thank you.

Did I miss the linking mechanism somewhere in this post? I really don’t seem to see it. Nonetheless, here’s my contribution:

Mr Linky doesn’t work well on WordPress as it has to go out on a separate page, so were just using ping backs and comments. We’ll see how it goes.

I work part-time – for an industry association for Europe, plus the odd piece of consultancy. This one is a very brief trip – 2 night holiday with my daughter to give her a break from her MSc. Haven’t been for ages so really looking forward to seeing old and new places.

You put it a hyperlink – mention Six Word Saturday, highlight those words and click the symbol that looks a bit like a paper clip. Then paste my post’s URL into the box. Sounds complicated but it’s not really!
BUT don’t worry – you don’t have to do it – just putting your URL in the comment is fine 🙂

Welcome to your new SWS role. 🙂 Is that the church near the BBC studios? The one that always has lots of people sitting on the steps eating their lunch/drinking their coffee etc?
