The beauty of Stockholm is undeniable on a sunny, snowy day, but as I wandered through the central park, Kungsträdgården, I was sad to see this poor, felled rabbit, overcome by wind and snow.
Or so I thought.
But it turns out that the fella has been lying down, come rain or shine, for 10 years.
The granite figures are the 2006 creation of Marianne Lindberg de Geer, entitled A Study in Unhuman Sexual Expectations. They were bought by Stockholm konst in 2009 and now sit happily in the city centre park, admired by passers by and a fun attraction for the children. Not to mention all the kind-hearted souls who try to help this one to his feet!
