It’s about time I got out there and found a new coffee haunt to share with you, but in the meantime, I will share with you a recent post from a fascinating coffee blogger from Seattle. Based on scientific research, she reports that early in the morning may not be the best time for that first cup of caffeine.

Innnnnnteresting. Tho I am afraid that if I dont get my morning coffee, in bed, I will never get out of bed. I only drink on weekdays, one cup, and so far the effects havent worn off. Also I cannot drink caffeine after 3pm or so, otherwise I will never go to sleep.

Perhaps your biorythms run to a different cycle! I have to have a cup of tea to get me going (drinking right now!) – not as much caffeine as coffee but it has some all the same. My coffee doesn’t start till mid-morning normally. Unless I’m in France, where a French breakfast just wouldn’t be right without coffee!

I also need my morning coffee – 3 cups before I am awake and during the day too and of course at night before I go to bed otherwise I can’t sleep. LOL!
Great post and share Debbie. *hugs*

I think you need to volunteer to be a case study, sounds like you should confuse the results nicely 😉

I have a neighborhood coffee shop that has mostly Star Wars paraphernalia around. They also have great coffee, couches and overstuffed chairs and a fireplace! Problem is I usually stop there on my way in to work and don’t want to leave. Maybe I should start drinking coffee in the afternoon?

Sounds like it. It sounds fun and comfy – I don’t think I’d want to leave either! I work from home and actually that often means working in a cafe as my home internet is so sloooow, your Star Wars one would be very tempting.

My fave time for coffee is early afternoon, when I sure do need a boost. Morning coffee I could do without. But I’m having one tomorrow, as I’m meeting friends for brekkie 🙂

That could explain why my 5am coffee tastes better than my 10am coffee.
