With Valentines Day fast approaching, I just had to share this photo, taken on London’s South Bank on a hot summer’s day in 2013.
Look closely at the bottom right hand corner! I’ll leave you to decide if that’s an appropriate symbol for marriage!

That is a fine, one off, hand painted sign. It can’t just be an ad for the lottery. Great find.

There was a neighbourhood themed festival going on at the time and it was part of that.

Sometimes it seems most things we do in life are a lottery, but it’s best not to advertise that fact!

I do think that whenever we marry, we always, even if it’s only mentally, cross our fingers.

how ironic!!! the sign is great – with all the underdrawing showing through – and carefully drawn letters – and the cute message – but then as you noted – that little zinger – the LOTTERY!! Debbie, super cool.
