As mentioned in James met Nora, XVI June is Blooms Day.
I took yesterday’s Lincoln’s Inn photo last year, 2013, but by some weird coincidence I ended up back in Dublin yesterday, June 16 2014.
As soon as my meetings were over I headed out with my camera to see what was happening. I didn’t see any Blooms-celebrating but I did see plenty of banners and streamers and, of course, James Joyce statues. Either World Cup mania had overtaken Joyce mania, or I was just too late.
Linked to Tagged X, ABC Wednesday and Alphabe Thursday.
Bloom’s Day was the perfect date for Alphabe-Thursday! I never would have thought of using a date. Good idea.

World Cup fever has overtaken my household, too (Hubby is Dutch).

Good luck to your hubby! Since England are out, I am supporting The Netherlands. They look brilliant at the moment.

Yes. There is an X is Roman numerals from 9-49, 59-99, and the same for NUMBERS over 100. What an idea. ROG, ABCW
