It’s easy to miss this unusual building in London but once its oddness has registered, you won’t be able to stop looking.
Artist Alex Chinneck created this Upside Down House, properly known as Miner on the Moon, as part of the 2013 MERGE Festival. The building itself dates back to 1780, and is due to be demolished as part of the long- and still-delayed 20 Blackfriars Road tower development. Planning for the project was granted a few years back but work has been on hold since and it is anticipated that the quirky artwork will remain here for a couple of years yet.

I like that! #alphabetphoto

Yikes…growing up I enjoyed stories about Mrs. Piggle Wiggle who lived in an upside down house…always wondered if it was possible♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/upside-down/

Love it, so unique. Possibly not the place to pass by after a long night out involving alcohol.
