I adore the architecture of the Gran Via in Madrid – the rooftops and facades are quite magical, especially in the sun.
Today I’m staying at one of my favourite hotels in Madrid, Hotel de las Letras, right on the Gran Via and with a roof terrace for proper enjoyment of the views.

What a coincidence , we’ve been in Barcelona ( my mother and sister live there) , last Friday. It would have been nice to see us there and sightsee together.
I hope you can enjoy the city , and not just be work. I remembered you to retake the hotel that you liked , and I could not resist returning to give a lot of pictures . It is that I love . It’s in the Fira de L’ Hospitalet , near the Plaza of Spain by bus.
Again, if you need something, or some restaurant management , or … say it.
