It is the final week of this month’s One Four Challenge and this is my last edit of the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
I had intended to do a black and white version this week, but I was inspired by Emilio’s Norman Rockwell-esque image last week and decided to try out FotoSketcher for myself. And oh did I have fun. I had many resulting images that I liked, but I have chosen this oil version to share – I like the way it plays with the shadows and enhances the shimmer of the metal.
Here are all my edits from this month.

Hi Debbie – you’ve had fun with this 😃 I love the way it brings out the surface of the metal too. Nicely done and its my fave for the month! Nice to find inspiration from each other!

I like the lovely clean lines in week 1. There’s a rhythm to the lines of the building foiled slightly by the detail of the steps. Very nice.

How could I not choose Week 4 since you mentioned my name. But it wasn’t really me who inspired you, but FotoSketcher- which is definitely fun to play with. 🙂

I suppose technically you are right, but I wouldn’t have discovered it without you
