Despite clouds and threatened storms, the rain rarely fell while I was in Singapore last month – the air there has a special way of hanging onto the water. Barring a summer in Kyoto, this was the worse humidity I have known.

I feel your pain. I lived there for 9 months and the humidity was oppressive. It never went down to a level where you could open your windows.

It was very frustrating – there was so much more I would have liked to do but I ran out of energy every day!
