Fire Beacon

You can spot beacons like this one all over Britain.  This one is in a park in St Albans and it was used as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in June 2012.

Although the October weather isn’t great right now, there was a good display of blue sky this morning, as long as you faced the right way.
