Whenever I’m in Manchester, be it for business, or football or to visit my daughter, I always pop along to the Northern Quarter.  I always enjoy this area – the murals change regularly and there’s a few great cafes and shops, plus some tasty tapas.

The murals vary hugely, but there are often some incredible faces, not always anonymous like that one above.

Not always alive

and not always human

but it’s always worth a wander to see what’s on show.

Sometimes they even remind us of the time of year.
